There are some massive UFC fights on deck over the next two pay-per-view events including two title fights and tons of other big named fights that are stepping foot into the octagon. With all of the fights coming up at UFC 287 and 288, several odds are beginning to release for them and are coming in with great value.

Starting with UFC 287, the main event will feature Alex Pereira defending his middleweight title against Israel Adesanya. Izzy is favored with -150 odds compared to Pereira’s 125.

Pereira claimed victory in their first meeting where he originally won the belt from Adesanya. Although Adesanya is favored, he has shown some signs of slowing down over his last few fights going 3-2 over his last five bouts, and all three wins coming by decision.

This comes as a surprise as Adesanya has finished 15 of his 23 wins. Pereira on the other hand, is 7-1 and undefeated in his four UFC fights.

The co-main for 287 features Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal. Burns is a massive favorite at -450 odds while Masvidal sits at 330. Burns is favored considering this might very well be Masvidal’s last fight at 38 years old and riding a 3-fight losing streak.

  • Location: Miami-Dade Arena — Miami
  • Start time: 10 p.m. ET (Main card)

Burns also has the wrestling advantage over Masvidal with 9 submissions. Masvidal is coming off of a loss to Colby Covington who wrestled him for the majority of the fight that he lost by unanimous decision.

Moving on to 288, Aljamain Sterling will defend his title for the third time against Henry Cejudo and you should be taking Aljo all the way in this one with Cejudo not having fought in almost three years.

Sterling has also proven himself as a great champion with an overall 22-3 record with 8 wins coming by submission and three by knockout. Sterling is a -120 favorite with Cejudo at 100 odds.

Also at UFC 288, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, Charles Oliveira will go up against Beneil Dariush where he opened as a rare underdog at 100 odds. Oliveira should certainly be considered here despite losing the championship in his last fight. Each of his three title fights prior to that ended in knockouts or submission.

Also, the UFC will certainly award the winner of this fight a title fight against Islam Makhachev with Oliveira the number one contender and Dariush fourth on that list.
